A IS FOR ARCHITECTURE is an international practice working on a variety of residential, commercial and cultural projects in the UK and Europe, from large masterplans to small beachside kiosks.

Our designs are driven by in-depth research, investigating the context and meaning of sites, client aspirations,community needs, and the ideas and motifs that bring each project to life.

Requirements for the position are:

＞Professional degree in architecture

＞5+ years post-qualification experience

＞Outstanding design sensibility

＞Experience in project planning,detailing and execution on large-scale mixed-use projects in the UK.

＞Experience in all stages of design and construction.

＞Experience in communication with clients, consultants, executive architects and contractors.

＞Experience in the development of drawing packages, samples/materials, mock-ups.

＞Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit,Rhino, and scheduling

＞Fluent in spoken and written English.

＞Appreciate working in a creative and collaborative environment where hierarchy is seen as a necessity rather than a goal.

＞Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.

The role:

＞Leading a small project or part of a large project.

＞Liaising directly with local authorities, consultants, and clients

＞Organise and lead design and technical workshops.

＞Preparing reports and drawing packages.

＞Support and mentor recently qualified architects and architectural assistants.

＞Having an active participation in the day-to-day running of the practice, including exploring new work opportunities.

Salary will be commensurate with experience. The role is full-time and studio-based with a start date in February/March 2026.
